Belgium beat Italy 2-0 in Rome to open Nations League campaign

Belgium started their UEFA Nations League campaign with a 2-0 win over Italy in Rome, taking all three points in their opening match.

Mika Godts broke the deadlock in the 21st minute, collecting a pass from Kevin De Bruyne before finishing past Gianluigi Donnarumma. The Italy goalkeeper later made a double save to deny Charles De Ketelaere and Nicolas Raskin.

Italy improved after half-time, but substitute Dodi Lukébakio added Belgium's second with a shot from outside the box. It was Belgium's first win against Italy in the Nations League.
